A man was stabbed to death by a man on a Keio Line train in Chofu, Tokyo, leaving him unconscious and 16 others seriously injured. The man, who was caught red-handed, was dressed as Batman’s Joker.

The suspect, 24-year-old Kyota Hattori, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The suspect, who was dressed as the Joker from Batman, was sitting on a seat in the car after the crime and did not act violently towards the police officers who rushed to the scene.

When told to drop the knife, he placed it on the seat and submitted to a search of his possessions.

A man in his 70s, who was stabbed in the right chest, is in a critical condition, unconscious, and 16 other people were seriously injured.

The Metropolitan Police are investigating the details of the situation at the time.
