Hiroyuki Nishimura, the founder of 2channel and a businessman, updated his Twitter page on January 10.

He expressed his opinion on the “Shinkansen tweet” by Naoya Tajima (38) of the comedy duo “Identity” on January 9.

Tajima tweeted, “Excuse me…for those in the know, how long does it take to finish a Pokemon card game? Tajima tweeted.

I’m sitting on the window side of a 3-row seat in the bullet train, and the guy in the middle and the guy on the aisle spread out cards on the table and started playing with other people he knows. I can’t go to the bathroom. Pressure~…” he wrote. The photo shows a deck of Pokémon cards being laid out on a Shinkansen seat.

The post caused controversy on the Internet.

Referring to the post, Hiroyuki said, “I think all you have to do is just say, ‘I want to go to the restroom. I don’t think it’s better to make a funny rule like ‘it’s against manners to play card games on Shinkansen’ when it can be solved by simply making the request,” he said in his personal opinion.

Many Japanese people are shy and embarrassed.
