Hiroyuki Nishimura (45), aka Hiroyuki, businessman and founder of the internet noticeboard 2channel, updated his Twitter account on 22nd. ‘I don’t want to work, so I took welfare. Everyday I became richer.” He quoted from an article distributed on NOTE on 18 June, titled “I don’t want to work, so I took welfare.

On the same day, Hiroyuki wrote on Twitter, quoting the same article, “It’s been three months since I started receiving welfare, writing ‘Reason for receiving: ideological reasons (because I don’t want to work)’. No self-bankruptcy, no repayment of debts, just the information powerhouse move of being on welfare.”

He added: “If you don’t want to work, enjoy Japan where you can live without working. If you have a problem with this, please go to the Diet members.” The article also stated that the government should not be allowed to take on too much debt.

The article was written by the author, Mr Kei Aikawa, who has been on welfare for three months, with a lot of debts, simply because he does not want to work. The author’s assertions that welfare is easy to receive, that only those who want to work should work, that talent is necessary to remain unemployed, and that he recommends that those who are suffering in today’s society get off society, have received a lot of feedback, and as of the morning of 23 May had received more than 2,000 ‘likes’.

The content has attracted more than 2,000 “Likes” as of the morning of the 23rd.
