The TV anime ” Chainsaw Man” will start airing in October 2022. The latest PV has been released and the main casts, Kikunosuke Toya, Tomori Kusunoki, Shogo Sakata, and Ai Fayrouz, have been announced. In addition, the world premiere will be held on September 19.
The second part of “Chainsaw Man” is currently being serialized in “Shonen Jump +” and is a dark hero action film based on the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, which has sold more than 15 million copies.
Denji, a boy who lives as a devil hunter with Pochita, a “chainsaw demon,” is betrayed and killed while living in poverty to repay a debt left by his parents. In his fading consciousness, Denji makes a contract with Pochita and is reborn as “Chainsaw Man” with the heart of a demon.
This new information was revealed during the “TV anime “Censorman” information release live special program” broadcast live on August 5. In the latest PV, Denji, who lives a poor life as a devil hunter with the chainsaw demon Pochita, is transformed into “Chainsaw Man” and battles against demons. Makima, who forces Denji to make the ultimate choice between the two, Aki Hayakawa, who later becomes Denji’s colleague, and Power, a demon who “hates both humans and demons,” can also be seen in the film.
In addition, the world premiere will be held on September 19 at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills in Tokyo. Totani, Kusunoki, Sakata, and Fayrouz are scheduled to appear on stage after the screening of the first episode.
