Chicago-based game developer “Young Horses” has announced that its first-person adventure game Bugsnax will be released on Steam in 2022.
No release date or price has been announced yet. The game will also be available in Japanese.
The game is already available on PC (Epic Games Store) for 2580 yen. It’s also available on PS4 and PS5.
Bugsnax is a game about an island where all the food you eat is turned into Bugsnax, and how you can use their powers to unlock the secrets of the island.
There are many islanders on the island who will help the hero. If you fulfill their wishes, they will take you further into the depths of the island in return.
There are a total of 100 different types of bug snacks that appear in the game.
Some move quickly from one patch of grass to the next, some like ketchup, some patrol their territory… learn their habits and use a variety of traps to catch them.
The world of Bugsnax is as bizarre as a toddler’s TV show or a flu daydream, and once you’ve seen it, it’s hard to forget.
Bugsnaks can eat strawberries, burgers, steaks and other foods that look like food, and when they do, their limbs are somehow replaced by the food.
As the islanders are fed more and more Bugsnaks, their bodies are replaced by more and more food.
