Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. announced on Thursday, October 28 that PlayStation 5 is now compatible with Apple Music.
PlayStation 5 is the first home console to support Apple Music, which offers more than 90 million songs, tens of thousands of playlists, 4K music videos, and live “radio” streaming of music from a variety of genres.
You can launch Apple Music before a game starts, or select Music to play it in the background while you’re playing. Create your own playlists to match the game you’re playing and create your own unique gaming experience.
Music videos that can be played in full screen will continue to play even when you return to the home screen or start gameplay. The music will continue to play even when you return to the home screen or start gameplay, and will seamlessly transition back and forth when you return to the music video.
All you need to do is download Apple Music to your PlayStation 5 and choose to sign up or log in to complete the integration. For more detailed instructions, please visit PlayStation. Blog.
