A Day at the Internet Cafe

Good-bye,

I had nowhere else to go.

I couldn’t stay at home with my family anymore.

I cycled to the train station or the ferry terminal, but I couldn’t get there.

I barely made it to the Internet cafe in front of the station.

It was 2000 yen for 12 hours. According to today’s Yahoo News, many Internet cafes have been shut down due to the covid-19.

I could understand my position in that small space.

Yes, I can’t move.

I realized that I was physically incapable of moving forward.

Even though I knew this in my head, I no longer had the strength to take action.

At the Internet cafe, I was able to watch pococha on my phone.

The usual liver were concerned about me.

Because I threw coins that I had saved uncommonly.

This kind of delivery software is just like the old All Night Japan.

On the other hand, it is easy to misunderstand the other side’s delivery, but listeners are under the illusion that it is their own delivery.

It is easy to misunderstand.

But you know, there’s a writer I follow, whose name I won’t mention here.

She delivered until 1:00 a.m., and she delivered until after 2:00 a.m after all.

I don’t want to join an office and be restricted. I want to follow everyone all the way.

I thought this was my true intention.

Although I knew that they were being paid.

Is it usual for me to believe that these words are not a lie?

But hey, I didn’t take any pills that night, all I did was drink alcohol, and I was saved.

I heard it wasn’t just about the money.

The night passed without sleep. I couldn’t get out of the station, so I rode my bike to my house.

I cycled to my house, out of breath.

But I couldn’t go home.

I sat on my usual bench in a nearby park and waited for the time to pass.

Watching the sky change. The sky is a wonder.

It keeps changing.

As I looked up at the sky, I imagined a world far away.

I’m not young enough to go on an adventure.

I don’t have the physical strength.

But you know, a liver of pococha told me that she wanted to stay like this forever, and her words actually saved me.

I took a sleeping pill and was able to sleep for a few hours.

But, you know, reality doesn’t change, does it?

Yes, I can barely deliver in this small space.

Salvation may actually be nearby.

If there is someone who always greets you in the same way, it may be okay.

Yes, it’s just the beginning, because it’s not over yet.

Good-bye,
