Harry Potter: The Magical Alliance, the AR location-based game from WB Games and Niantic, will end on 31 January 2022.
The game, based on the Harry Potter books, is a location-based game in which players collect magical creatures and tools that have overflowed into the real world.
The game has been available on both iOS and Android since July 2, 2019.
It was removed from the app store on 6 December.
The company says it will complete the story in the next few months.
More details on the end of the game, including in-game events, new content and gameplay changes, will be announced on the game’s blog.
Niantic said in the blog, “We’ve been delivering this story for two years, and together with our players, we’ve been able to achieve our goals.
We’d like to thank the amazing community of witches and wizards who have joined us on this journey, and we look forward to bringing this story to a close soon. It’s been a pleasure to adventure with you all over the past two years.
We look forward to seeing you again in other games.
