Game creator Eric Barone announced on the live showcase show “ID@Xbox” on Wednesday, August 11, that his farm simulation game “Stardew Valley” will be added to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service this fall.
Barone said on the show, “We hope this will be a great opportunity for people to get to know the world of this game.”
If you’ve already played the game before, you might want to consider inviting a friend or colleague to join you in the co-op mode.
Stardew Valley received a free major update in December 2020, version 1.5, which was released for PC and is gradually being added to consoles.
The update includes local split-screen multiplayer and a host of other content and tweaks, so even if you’ve been playing for a while, you’re sure to find something new to enjoy.
In addition to this title, the show also announced the addition of the ninja action game “Aragami 2” and the photographer action game “Pupperazzi” to the Xbox Game Pass, where you can explore a world full of dogs.
